The Avenue Room can be home for your entire special day. With its esteemed heritage and natural elegance, the Room is a sacred and beautiful space for your wedding ceremony. After that, let the gravitas and excitement of your commitment sink in; we have ample space for you and your party to relax, take photos, nosh, and prepare for the reception.
But most importantly, do it your way. At The Avenue Room, we offer a selection of approaches based on your needs. If you want us to take complete care of you, our Full Service package will orchestrate all the details. If you prefer more of a DIY style, our A La Carte option allows you to pick and choose your rentals and services.
OUR SPACE
One of the premiere wedding venues in Saskatoon, The Avenue Room elicits ‘Oohs’ and ‘Aahs’ when people enter it. The Avenue Room is a private event space which can house up to 150 people. Its turn-of-the-century splendour such as terra cotta bricks, statelhy pillars, and hardwood floors have been artfully refurbished, but the Room has been purposely finished in neutral colours so that your style may be the focus for your wedding day. Your dresses, your flowers, your linens should be what pops out; we provide the perfect canvas. With its light-showering skylights and front bay windows, the Room has ideal natural light for your photographs. The lovely upper mezzanine, complete with fireplace, has a lounging area to relax. The newly appointed privet meeting room upstairs is included with the main room rental and makes for a perfect bridal party change room or a nice place to rest, breathe, and compose.
PLANNING PACKAGES
Depending on how you’re planning your wedding, the Avenue Room can adjust your booking package to suit the direction you’re hoping to go. If you’re hoping to stay hands-off with the planning and you’d like us to take complete care of you, we provide a Full-Service Package. With this option, you and your guests can feel at ease knowing that everything is being handled. We take care of the necessary rentals, assist with the setup of the space and tables, provide wait staff and bartenders, space coordination and the teardown of the space.
